6. Install the cable. Tuck it under the mounting screw. Pull it firmly with one hand and tighten the fastening screw with the other. If a cable groove is provided, make sure the cable is in the groove instead of lying next to it. When tightening the screw, be careful NOT to pull off the threads.
7. Set small gears. To do this, unscrew the screw L approximately to the end, so that it does not restrict the movement of the switch. Begin to pedal and shift the shifter into first gear at the same time. Do this carefully, from the fact that the chain can get into the spokes to the adjustment, slipped to the left of the Largest sprocket.
8. Adjust small gears. Standing behind the bike, turn screw L and align the largest sprocket and tensioner rollers until they are in a straight line. Traditionally, the screw must be tightened before starting to rotate tightly.
9. Adjust the chain tensioner. Put it on the smallest front and largest rear sprockets, pedal back. If the upper tensioner pulley touches the sprocket teeth, turn the screw until the pulley is removed from the teeth by 5 mm. Then move the chain to the smallest sprocket and check the chain tension there.

How to unscrew the rear sprocket on a speed bike
1. When assembling the rear hub, it should be considered that the right and left ends of the axle are different. The right one is fixed to the axle by means of a lock nut, after which it is never removed from it. Consequently, all adjustments are made with the left cone. DO NOT confuse which side of the sleeve you will need to insert with the right cone.
2. Put a new, thick grease in the bushing housing and in the bearing cups on both sides, then, with the support of tweezers, take the balls and press them into it. The layer of grease should be quite thick so that the balls do NOT roll out of the bushing.
3. On the right side of the rear hub, fold the washer onto the balls and insert with the right cone. This must be done carefully. In a disgusting case, you run the risk of losing balls, which can fall out of the bearing cup from the opposite side.
4. Screw the left cone onto here, but DO NOT tighten in any way. Later, put on the washers and screw on the lock nut.
5. Now you need to adjust the bearings. To do this, ensure the immobility of the axis. 7. If everything is done positively, then it will rotate easily, without any jamming. Moreover, it does not have to have a large backlash. If any play or jamming is detected, unscrew the lock nut and tighten or Loosen the cone.
8. At the end of the adjustment, put on the anthers and check the rotation of the wheel, which should turn without any effort only under the action of the weight of the nipple.
