What is a cycling camera

A bicycle chamber is a tube, initially in a flat form, which is placed in a tire and then pumped through a nipple to the required pressure using a pump. By itself, the bicycle tube does not have the ability to maintain constant pressure, this role is assigned to the wheel tire.

The nipple is a constituent element due to which the process of pumping air inward takes place. This mechanism does not allow air to pass through due to its special design, the principle of operation of which has practically not changed from time immemorial.

At the moment, they are divided into three types:

  • Dunlop. originally used on all bicycles, now found on children’s models;
  • Presta. referred to as French. Due to their lower weight, they are installed on racing bicycles. Has a cylinder diameter of 6 mm, length from 40 to 80 mm.;
  • Shrader, the most common type. Cylinder diameter 6 or 8 mm, length 40 mm (rarely reaches 60 mm). Fitted on hybrids, mountain bikes and other extreme types of bikes.
